September 6-28 Chuck Woodfin will have a solo photography show at the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts.
The show will consist of 30 framed photographs with the theme “Wildly Accessible Alaska.”
“Alaskans and visitors are fortunate to have extraordinary sights just a short distance off the road system,” said Woodfin.
He has captured some of these scenes driving, biking and hiking in some areas that are very easily reached. Woodfin says that through digital photographs, he strived to recreate the image the way he saw it in his mind’s eye on the day he took the photograph.
An opening reception will be held at the Girdwood Center for Visual Arts on Saturday, September 6 at 7 p.m.
