Mountain Top reopens for summer
The Tram is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. beginning on Friday May 22. Bring your visiting friends and family up to Glacier Express for a Tram & Lunch combo meal with an amazing view. GLX will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. though September. RV parking in the Daylodge base area is also now open for $10 per night.
Seven Glaciers reopens May 22
Seven Glaciers will reopen May 22 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., seven days a week. Chef Tanner Exposito has some unique menu options this summer, featuring quality Alaska products prepared with a twist, including Blueberry Halibut, King Crab Cocktail, and Mesquite Grilled Elk Chops. Reservations suggested, but walk ins are always welcome. Girdwood residents can ride the Tram for $6 after 5 p.m.
2009/2010 Season Pass Sales
Season passes will go on sale beginning May 22. Passes can be purchased either online or at the Tram Ticket Office. Renew your pass online and use the same card as 08/09. Ask about applying credit card information to use your pass to pay for goods and services resort-wide. Buy your 09/10 pass now, and ride the Tram free all summer for sightseeing. Mountain open for hiking and biking
The mountain is now open for hiking. Please be aware of snow conditions above you while you are on the trails. You can ride the Tram down for free if you hike up to the tram terminal. Biking will open on June 1 for Bear Cub, Blueberry Pancake and Christmas in July trails. Please be aware of ongoing construction projects on the lower mountain, and obey all posted signs. Scott and K2 bike rentals are available at the Tram Ticket Office. Call 754-2275 for more details.
Swollen Members to perform outdoor show at Daylodge
Swollen Members from Vancouver, Canada will play an outdoor show at the Daylodge on Saturday, June 6. This will be an all ages concert, with a beer garden available for 21 & over with proper ID. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets are $25. Go to www.groovetickets.com to purchase tickets.
