TROOPER REPORT

The following incidents were reported to Detachment E of the Alaska State Troopers.

Criminal trespass in the second degree, theft 4th degree: On May 2 at 9:45 p.m. hours, troopers’ summoned Jory M. Walrath, 20, of Anchorage, and Jessica E. Tyree, 20, of Anchorage, for Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Walrath and Tyree were contacted at the Alaska Railroad properties near mile 80 of the Seward Highway. They were loading gravel into the back of Tyree’s pickup truck. Walrath and Tyree were each issued a Uniform Summons and Complaint to appear in court for criminal trespass and released at the scene. They unloaded the gravel from her pickup truck and escorted from the railroad property. Theft charges are being forwarded to the DAO for consideration.

Personal use fishing without license: On May 5, Edward W. George, 17, of Anchorage, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for personal use fishing with a dip net in 20 mile river without a 2007 sport fish license. Bail is set at $210.00.

False Statement: On May 6, Hsin C. Weng, 38, of Anchorage, was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers for making a false statement on his 2007 resident sport fishing license. Bail is set at $310.00 in Anchorage District Court.

Vehicle Theft 1st Degree: On May 11 at approximately 11:00 a.m. hours, Deah M. Thompson, 29, of Girdwood, reported to troopers that her tan 1991 Subaru Legacy had been stolen from her residence by an unknown person(s) sometime between May 10 at approximately 11:00 p.m., and May 11 at approximately 11:00 a.m. The vehicle is valued at approximately $5,000.00.
