A musk ox calf was born on Friday at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Staff at the center have had trouble with calves being provided proper nutrition by their mothers. This calf was removed from the enclosure on Saturday morning. The staff is caring for the animal with multiple daily feedings and monitoring.
