Town Hall meeting planned for Community Rec. Center

On Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Girdwood Community Meeting Room, the community is invited so each person can share his and her vision for a Girdwood Community Recreation Center.

A Task Force appointed by the Girdwood Board of Supervisors and led by Chair, Lynne’ Doran has been meeting for several months to discuss possibilities offered by a community recreation center. Community input is vital to this developing process, so please come together at 7 p.m. and bring all your ideas, great and small.

Think about how a community recreation center in Girdwood would look. Envision what activities and organizations would be found inside.
