STARVING FOR FISH

A young brown bear feeds on a fish carcass on the shore of Turnagain Arm across from the Indian Valley gold mine. A large crowd gathered along the Seward Highway Thursday, July 29, to take photos of the bear, which was around three years old. It had an injured right back leg and was under weight.
