On May 9 Girdwood Chapel hosted their annual Chili Cook-Off at the Girdwood Fire Station. The proceeds of the cook-off go to benefit the youth programs at the Chapel. The winners were: (left to right) Best Meat Chili-Chief Chadwick (for his “Fire Chief’s Revenge”), Crowd Favorite-Jesse Smith of Casa del Sol (for her “Southwest Chili”), Best Vegetarian Chili-Judy Burd (for her “Spag-chili”).
