On Saturday March 27, 2010 Pat Vail, 64, peacefully crossed his river holding the hands of his wife and two daughters.
Ever the provider and protector he sent us a last warning to “watch for the holes.” Pat was strong to the end, but gave in easily and peacefully with family at his side when he decided the time was right.
Pat was a loving husband, father and brother who never failed to share his joy of life with anyone who was interested. He leaves behind a legacy of camping and fishing and love for his fellow man. Fish on. We will share ‘fish stories' of Pat together with his community later this spring. Thank you for your love and support. Alison, Ciri, Elizabeth Vail & Tiana and Cory Hopper.
