The VeVe Haiti team would once again like to thank our community for the support we received at our latest benefit at Maxine's. Big thanks to the supporters that came from Anchorage and to all those who took part in our silent and live auctions. We are also very appreciative to the individuals and businesses that donated items for the silent auction and to Kristine Lewis and her staff at Maxine's. The Creole dinner special was outstanding!

Thanks for help after colliding with moose
To the Editor:
Thank you to the kind persons who stopped and helped me after my car collided with a moose near Bird flats on the evening of Monday, Feb. 15. Thank you also to the Troopers who responded. Thanks also to Girdwood FD who offered assistance (declined). Thanks to all of you for your kind help.
