My restaurant pick of the month is Ernesto & Ricardo's Grill. They've been open for a little over a month; and although they're covering a lot of ground by serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's admirable. I was pleased.

The service was attentive and gracious. I enjoyed the Guacamole Fresco, which was prepared at the table with panache by our waiter. The salsas were delicious, but the corn chips were disappointing. I tried a bowl of the Tortilla Soup, which had a fine broth, but was piled, with way too many of those corn chips.

The Margaritas were respectable, but I only had one. The Chicken Quesadilla was presented beautifully in a star shape, and was deliciously cheesy.

I will go back to try their version of Chicken Fried Steak. Ole'. Located at the corner of Arctic and International. For information: 375-9161.
