The Alaska State Troopers reported the following incidents. Any charges reported are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Warrant Arrest

Moose Pass—Oct. 15 at approximately 7:25 p.m., a Crown Point based Trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at mile 36 Seward Highway. The passenger was identified as Lisa Renshaw, 44 years old of Soldotna. Renshaw was arrested on an outstanding $1,000 for Failure to appear warrant from Anchorage PD. The original charges were for DUI, DWLR, and no motor vehicle insurance. Renshaw was transported and remanded to Anchorage Jail.

Minor Consuming Alcohol

Girdwood—Oct. 17 at around 8:44 p.m., a Trooper from Girdwood contacted Joshua Randich, age 19 of Anchorage, in the parking lot of the Alyeska Resort Day lodge. Randich was found to be in the possession of and had consumed alcohol. Randich was summons to appear in court on the charge of MCA and released at the scene.

DUI

Girdwood—Oct. 18 at around 9 p.m., the Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, Kenai Peninsula Team stopped a vehicle near mile 101 of the Seward Highway for a moving violation. The operator was identified as Emma D. Williams age 22 of Girdwood. Williams was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence and was arrested for DUI. Williams was remanded to the Anchorage Jail where she was held on a $250 bail.

Driving Without A Valid Driver's License/Permitting An Unauthorized Person To Drive

Girdwood—Oct. 20 at approximately 8 p.m., the Troopers Bureau of Highway Patrol, South Central Team stopped a vehicle near mile 86 Seward Highway for an inoperative taillight. The driver, a 16-year-old male juvenile, was subsequently discovered to be driving without a valid driver's license. The juvenile was issued a misdemeanor citation for NVOL and released to his parent. The passenger, Stephen Hutchings, age 58 of Soldotna, had directed the juvenile to drive the vehicle knowing that the juvenile was not licensed to drive. Stephen Hutchings was issued a misdemeanor citation for Permitting an Unauthorized Driver and released at the scene.

Hunting With A Shotgun With More Than 3 Shells

GIRDWOOD—Oct. 25, Robert Parduhn, 34, of Anchorage was cited by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Girdwood Post for hunting ducks with a shotgun that holds more than 3 shells. Bail is set at $110 at Anchorage District Court.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Moose Pass—Oct. 26 at 4:15 a.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a vehicle rollover at mile 41 of the Seward Highway. An investigation showed that Luke Walker, 23, of Anchorage, had lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. The vehicle slid into the ditch were it rolled onto it's side. Walker reported that he was wearing his seat belt and was not injured. Walker was cited for operating a vehicle with expired registration. Alcohol was not a factor.

Permitting An Unauthorized Person To Drive

Moose Pass—Nov. 1 at approximately 8:20 p.m., a Crown Point based Trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at mile 29 Seward Highway. The driver identified as Kayla Eide-Segura 18 years old of Soldotna, was issued a misdemeanor citation for NVOL. The passenger/owner of the vehicle was issued a misdemeanor citation for permitting an unauthorized person to drive.

Warrant Arrest

Moose Pass—Nov. 1 at around 4:30 p.m., a Crown Point based Trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at mile 46 Seward Highway. The passenger, identified as Katelyn Wilder 18 years old of Seward, was arrested for an outstanding $250 Failure to appear warrant. The original charge was for MCA. Wilder was transported and remanded into the Seward Jail.
