Oktoberfest Celebration
Join us at the Daylodge on Sept 25 & 26 from 6 p.m. until midnight for an Oktoberfest celebration. Festivities include authentic German food & beer, live music, costume contests, dancing and fun for the whole family. Music by Alaska Blaskapelle. The $10 admission for adults includes a filled stein of beer. Under 21 and designated drivers entry fee is $3. Check online for room packages to avoid driving home after a night of celebrating.
Autumn Specials
Seven Glaciers Restaurant will feature a revolving selection of three entree specials this fall for $20 -$25 each. This promotion will run until the restaurant closes for the summer season on Oct 18. The Spa at Alyeska will offer a 15 percent discount on massages, Monday – Wednesday through Nov 30. The Spa will remain open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

News from Mountainside
Crews are wrapping up summer projects and gearing up for ski season. We’ve installed a Tram Rollsecure device that enables the Tram to operate in winds up to 50 mph and a new weather station at the top of the Tram. The Race Trail dual start shack has been replaced with a new building that crews have been calling “Dollhouse”. Local racers will appreciate better access to the Slalom and Super G courses as well as improved and updated timing capabilities. Season passes will be available for printing and pick up at the Dimond Center Mall starting Oct. 3, weekends only, from noon until 6 p.m.
Tram and mountain-top restaurants fall closure soon
The last day for summer Tram operations will be Sunday, Oct 18. The Tram, Glacier Express and the Sitzmark Bar & Grill will reopen on Nov 25. Seven Glaciers will reopen on Nov 27. Sakura & Sushi Bar will be closed until Dec 18. Aurora Bar & Grill will remain open seven days a week from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., serving great food and pizza to go. Tramway Café will open daily at 7 a.m.
Be a Part of the Mystery Train
Alyeska Resort and the Alaska Railroad have partnered to present the “Alyeska Mystery Train” event on October 31. Become a part of the drama in a themed murder mystery who-dunnit that begins on the train and concludes at The Hotel Alyeska. A Community Kid’s Carnival will take place at the Daylodge from 4-7 p.m. and then the Daylodge will reopen for 21 & over at 10 p.m. with live music, dancing and costume contests.
