Work by Silvertip Road Crew much appreciated

To the Editor:

A big thanks to the Silvertip Road Crew. Thanks to Drew Motsinger and the guys at the DOT Silvertip Station for helping out the Chugach National Forest with the parking lot improvements at Placer River this fall. The crew did an excellent job cleaning up the guard rail in these two recreational parking areas. It’s great to partner and work together with neighboring agencies for the betterment of all. Thanks to all AK DOT workers for your continued dedication to keeping our highways and parking lots safe and maintained. Remember to give the snow removal crews plenty of space as we enter into another snowy winter in Portage Valley and Turnagain Pass.   Thanks guys, it’s much appreciated.
